Effect of pre-treated waste tire rubber on properties of concrete

Abstract In present day scenario the human activities have led to environmental degradation with increased urbanization contributing many fold increase in constructing activities, which uses limited natural resources. Therefore, prevention of resource over-utilization and recycling waste is utmost priority construction sector. Waste tires rubber one such potential material can be used concrete as replacement for fine aggregates replacement. This study represents effect addition crumb sand ranging from 5-20% on volume basis.
